Interesting that their grill design (and nothing else) changed over time. What I assume is an earlier Pobeda in that picture is strongly reminiscent of an American Nash, but the influences on the later model are more diverse.

I think GAZ changed the grille about 3 times over the course of production, but that was about the extent of the updates on the Soviet cars.

FSO, on the other hand, made some pretty radical changes to their version, eventually converting it to a 3-box shape and giving it a vaguely Morris Minor-y front treatment.
